First Fight

We had our first fight ever after 8 months.

I know it's normal in a relationship but I really hate it.

Instead of a petty fight, it was a long irritated silence.

I want to break that moment but because of my pride,I didn't.

My heart was crushed seeing the one I love,

walking alone in the street with her head down as I leave.

So stupid of me!

For that, I payed the price.

My guilt consumes me.

My conscience won't let me sleep.

My love for her removed that selfish pride living inside of me.

I don't want to see her in pain.

I don't want to see her going out of my life,

I don't want to see her leaving me because she's my life.

I called her up in the middle of the night.

I admitted my fault and told her I love her.

I love everything about her.

That was the first scar of what we have, of what we share.

I know that mistake will never be forgotten and will be treated as lesson

for us to be stronger and for us to grow more.

Talipanan, Puerto Galera at its best!

If you want a vacation wherein you can find peace and tranquility, I should say go to Talipanan, Puerto Galera. Talipanan beach is located west side of White beach. Talipanan is not that crowdy compared to White Beach. The water is crystal clear but instead of sand, you'll see a lot of pebbles near the shore.

My Talipanan adventure started when my girlfriend and I planned to have a weekend getaway. Instead of going to Subic, Batangas, or Zambales, we ended up going to the said place as recommended by my friend. We left Manila on a Saturday morning and headed towards the City of Batangas by public transportation (ALPS). From Batangas Pier, we booked a rountrip ticket from Minolo Shipping Lines. The ferry boat took us directly to White Beach but there is a stop over in Muelle, another island opposite to Sabang beach.

It was a 4 hour ride from Ortigas to White beach by land and by sea. Upon arriving to White beach , we rented a tricycle cab on the main road going to Talipanan. There is a dead end wherein we have no choice but to go to the place by foot because the road is uphill and bumpy. If I am not mistaken that road leads to the jump off for Mt. Malasimbo. Truly the place is isolated but has a lot to offer.

We rented a room at GM's resort. Nanay Lucy is running the place, their staff is very friendly and accomodating. The place is nice and quiet. Aside from GM's resort, you can also check El Canonero, Luca Lodge, Mengies resort and Mariners Lodge.

We had dinner at Luca's Restaurant, famous Italian restaurant where tourists from White Beach and Sabang visits the place because of the ambiance and good food! Food servings are good for 4 persons and its worth the price.

Every island has its own beauty of sunrise. We woke up at 530 a.m. the next day just to see the sun rise from White beach, unfortunately there was no round sun. Just a glimpse of it yellow and orange light due to the clouds covering it. At Talipanan's beachfront, you can also see Tingloy Island from afar; another island I would like to explore.If you are a photographer, you can do photo ops with friends on the rock formation beside Luca's restaurant.

I strongly recommend this island getaway for couples, adventurers, families and friends who wants to have a quality time together. Again, another island exploration has been achieved, wondering where will my feet take me for my next destination.

Stronghold defined as a place for survival. I say she is my stronghold, a place where I find peace..

She calms my heart when it trembles so fast.
She puts me into a good sleep when I have a troubled mind.
When I'm with her, I feel free;
Free from the worries that I kept inside myself.
She's my cabinet, I can talk to her everytime I carry heavy loads.
She always listen without any hessitation.
